discharge and cramping in post menopause

Hello, I am 58 years old now and my menopause was 11 years ago. Here is what worries me past two months. I am having discharge and cramping like menses. I am confused and scared. Could this be a cancer? Is it possible to have discharge and cramping in post menopause? Thank you

Oh I have heard about this before. It appears that you are having post-menopausal bleeding, so you need a proper evaluation of the condition. I don't want to scare you, but post-menopause bleeding may mean that you may have some gynecological cancer. You should talk about discharge and cramping with your gyno and do investigations like endometrial sampling, hysteroscopy, etc.
