my discharge has never been a problem i havent had any sexual intercourse or have not had oral my discharge has changed its pattern and has become very thick and string like it doesnt itch or smells please help its really getting me down and i dont want my boyfriend to think im a freak [/b]
I think you don’t have a problem here as if you haven’t had any sex so far then it can’t be any STD, this one is excluded. What may cause your discharge becoming different from what you have been used to is maybe some yeast infection or maybe you are ovulating as in this period the amount of discharge increases and it becomes somewhat thicker but has no bad smell. I’d say this might be some yeast infection due to your immune system falling, maybe you have had some slight cold or taking antibiotics!
What you should take care of is keeping the genital area clean and do not use any showering gels or saops that can cause the imbalance of the vaginal yeast as your problem could only be prolonged then. But you should go see your gynecologist for the check up and he would know what you should do the best.
