| Hello, I am suffering from a high blood pressure. I did not even know that, but I started feeling tired, and headaches came too. I had to go to a doctor and was diagnosed with high blood pressure. I was prescribed with diuretics which confused me. I though this kind of condition is treated with anti hypertensives. Can you tell me something about diuretics? |

| High blood pressure might become because of the several different reasons and the treatments are different too. Basic therapy would be decreased intake of salt and decreasing the weight. Also, you can use diuretics and after that, if nothing happens, anti hypertensives are given. So, for now you have nothing to worry about. Perhaps diuretics will finish the job. |
