i had emergency surgery and had 18" of my large intestine remove. the doctors advised i had diverticulitis. i was outfitted with a colostemy bag for six months. i recently had a second surgery (reversal) and i was put back together again. everything is working good but i have bright red blood in my stool. my doctor advised that is normal and it should clear up. has anyone else had the same problems. please advise, thank you.
