dizziness and tingling sensation in the head

For 4 days now i've been dizzy and I went to the doctor I told him that I had an inner ear infection so he gave me pills (yesterday)for that. I had the same thing last year areound this time so I was pretty sure it was because of my ears. Yesterday my whole top of my head started to have a tingling sensation and feels cool and it is freaking me out. When I wake up I don't feel it, it seems to start in the middle of my day. I've been tired lately and going to bed earlier than usual. The back of my head where the neck and head meet feel a little sore but it feels a lot like my sinuses. I was wondering if I should get someone to look at it or if I should keep taking my pills and see if it gets better.
