| I have just returned from the hospital. I had a car accident and, to be honest, I am still confused about everything that happened. Other people involved are still in the hospital, so I guess I should consider myself lucky. Doctor started me on Percocet. It should relieve me of pain from head trauma. Actually, that is the only thing I got from this accident. So, starting thinking clearly, I wonder about this Percocet. How serious is it? |

| Percocet is used to deal with moderate to severe pain. I guess that head injury of yours is not that light, considering the medication you were prescribed. There is also possibility of adding acetaminophen in therapy. These two combined can deal easily with severe pain (hope it wont come to that). I would recommend you not to take alcohol while using this drug, avoid sleeping pills and sedatives. Allergic reaction might occur, if that happens please see your doctor again. And one last thing, please drive carefully. |
