My sister is on doxycycline treatment for the bacterial infection that she has. She recently started with the therapy. I‘ve always been against the drugs. I think that everything can be cure in natural way. Anyway I need info about possible side effects of doxycyline, because this is the first time she is on this treatment. Thank you.

Well, those less serious side effects of the doxycyline are: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, vaginal yeast infection… but there are other more serious but uncommon like: an allergic reaction, you can recognize that she is having if she has trouble of breathing, or swelling on the face, also unusual bleeding is a side effect….possible liver damage or irritation of the esophagus. This is not complete but I hope enough informative for you.
