I have been thinking about having my nose done. I have had a bump for nose since forever, and am hating it!!!!I finally decided it was time I did something about it! I heard about this doctor called dr howard bellin and he seems ok. I mean he does so many things like rinoplasty, breast augmentation, liposuction, tummy tuck, eyelid surgery, face-lift, lip enlargements and some others. But now, I am interested in experience!! Is there anybody who had an operation done by dr howard bellin.

Hello! I did a lot of questioning before I decided for my boob operation last spring. I chose dr howard bellin because of his experience and innovative techniques. My cousin had a lip job there, and was more than pleased, so I decided to do so as well and can tell you that I love them now!!!!!!!!

OMG, I had a similar experience with Mr. Bellin (he is not worthy of the tirle "doctor" in my book). I went to him for rhinoplasty. He said mine was a fairly simple case. To start with, I awoke in the middle of the operation to great pain--I felt him whack the bone in my nose to break it, then I felt and heard him grinding away at the bone. It was horrific.
The end result was a bit odd, nothing at all what I expected, and since the operation, I have had great difficulty breathin gthrough one nostril. He also shaved too much off the hump of my nose, so it slopes down and looks "operated on". When I confronted him about it, he was very hostile, and his entire demeanor swithced from the nice guy before surgery to a jerk afterwards.
I have consulted with several surgeaons to get a "revision" (to have someone fix what he messed up). I asked one surgeon how bad a job Mr. Bellin did, and he said "he does an okay nose job, and he's a slightly wacko guy."
Bottom line: if what you want done is VERY simple, and you could place your trust in a guy who has clearly wronged so many, and you wouldn;t mind possibly waking up during the operation (there will be no anasthesiologist present, because it's cheaper for him that way), then go for it. But BUYER BEWARE, he's a real loon and a jerk, and will do a quick and dirty job (that's why he's the cheapest and you can always get an appointment with him--because no one with any sense wants to go to him).

| I was also considering Bellin for rhino and heard good things about him in the media. i never heard of the botch tummy job you speak of or your personal experience with nose job. is your nose visiby disfigured or did you want unattainable or unrealistic results? its so hard to find that "perfect surgeon" i guess do to personal opinion versus bad skills. by the way i know how you feel i had dr Monasebian do a revision on me and i left worse than how i came in. sometimes we dont know what we got till its gone. |

| Brian - Sorry I did not see your email sooner!...I would have told you to STAY AWAY from Dr. Bellin...Sounds like the SAME rhinoplasty I had....and of course he thought it looked good even though I could not breath and the bridge of my nose was gone!.... |

I had my nose done by Dr Bellin.. I did wake up during the last 5 minutes. He and the staff were very nice when i did wake up. No it didnt hurt it was just uncomfortable and a little scary, i didnt really know what was going on. No pain during and no pain after, thats what the doctor says and its true. (All you feel is presure)
My nose looks incredible i love it. It takes a year to FULLY heal.... soo these people who cant breathe it takes a year!
I had a deviated septum and a bump, a very large bump.. I broke my nose twice.
If you have too much to fix ,do not expect 100% results and im saying this for any doctor.
I personally Love his work |

Hi,
I was interested in having liposuction with Dr. Bellin. Met with him. He evaluated me for less than 3 minutes. He is a small guy but seems very intimidating. Many people here have different reviews ranging from very good to horrible. The only reason I am still seriously considering using him is because of the specific liposuction technique that he uses...(making the patient stand up in the middle of the surgery to evalaute any uneveness) and his non-use of total anesthsia. He made the surgery sound very simple and I like that. He also said I could be back at work within 2-3 days. The only thing that is holding me back at this point is the hefty price-tag he charges and the negative reviews I've read on here. If anyone here has used him for liposuction I would very grateful if you could tell me about it.
