I just had the methotrexate injected today as part of the two part series of a medical abortion. Aside of POSSIBLE liver damage, is there any reason why I cannot have a glass of wine with dinner? I'm not planning on getting drunk, I would just like to take the edge off. Additionally, is it really imperative that I avoid ALL foods containing folic acid until I take the inserted tablets on Sunday.
