|

| Hello! I am a young female teenager and for about two days I've been having a dull pain in my sternum area, mostly on about the right side is. However, it never hurts on its own; only when I breathe deeply or am lying down and start to sit up does it hurt. It also doesn't hurt on contact, such as when I poke at it with my fingers. I haven't been having any other chest pain and my heart and pulse rate seem to be fine. The pain seems to come from the actual bone rather than anything else. I'm thinking that it might be a calcium deposit, but I have one in my mouth and that one doesn't hurt at all. I would like a popular diagnosis before I panic and run to the doctor's office. Please help! |
