dx sudden onset of back shoulder pain

Yesterday while I was out with my friends and I had sudden onset of back shoulder pain. One of my friends has been dx with frozen shoulder. I remember that he had also shoulder pain and neck. They moved away and I don’t know who to ask about it. Is sudden onset of back shoulder pain symptom of a frozen shoulder?
