I turned 36 this May and I have had a very light period for the past 2 months lasting only one day and spotting for the first day and for 2 more days after 1 normal day. I haven't had any cramps just mild nausea almost constant for the last month and very tender breasts. I did a preg. test a couple of days ago and again today and they still say I am not pregnant. I put on 5 pounds this month and thought at first it was just bloating but, it hasn't gone down. Trying to get in to see my OB/GYN is very hard with a long wait to be seen unless I am pregnant. I can't get an answer from them for another 6 weeks. I was pregnant with my daughter 5 years ago and had a normal text book pregnacy.

I am hoping that someone recognizes my symptoms and can give me some advice? My mom thinks it could be my thyroid but, I am not tired and actually have trouble sleeping some nights. It isn't stress, no matter how crazy my life my cycle is always 28 days with 5 days of normal flow. I don't know if these are symptoms of early menopause or this is a missed pregnancy? My aunt was told she wasn't pregnant with both of her kids and yet, here they are.

I am happy to have another child if I am pregnant but, right now, I just wish I had some idea what was going on with my body. Any guesses would be appreciated.
