There is a story that goes on among people that Parkinson's disease is a disease of old age. People say that it usually affects you in your 50's and 60's years. How come my ten years old son is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease? Is there some kind of early onset of Parkinson's disease?

I also heard about that story. My mother had Parkinson's disease, but she was diagnosed when she had 65 years old. Because of your writing I did some asking among my friends and here is what I found out. There is a form of young (early) onset of Parkinson's disease. It appears predominantly rigid, a kinetic form of disease. It is normal for young population not to have tremor on initial presentation, or never have tremor.
