ectopic pregnancy.... now what?

My wife recently had to terminate a pregnancy and have one of her tubes removed as a result of an ectopic pregnancy. I was in iraq when this happened so i wasnt able to ask her doctor any questions. What are her chances of having a successful pregnancy with one tube.. and is there anything we can do to help prevent another ectopic pregnancy and promote a healthy pregnancy?
