Women often times get extremely horny during their period. I'm not entirely sure why this is, but I'm not complaining. With that said, sex during a woman's period can help her in LOTS of ways.

The risk of pregnancy is greatly lowered during menstrual sex. Since the body is expelling the egg and the uterus is nowhere near in the condition needed to host a baby, the chance the egg actually implants is low, but it is still there. You have the most chance of knocking up your woman about 12-17 days inbetween periods.

The contractions of the uterus during orgasm can often end periods very abruptly. This means very short periods! Often times, they end within a day of having sex. Why should your woman have to suffer if you can help her in this matter?

The contractions of the uterus also help cramps. If your woman is in extreme pain, I would say wait until she's in a bit less, or start out getting her aroused in other ways (foreplay is a must anyways). Often times when you start to play, the cramps lessen or subside and that could give you the chance to have great sex while she's on the rag.

Also, keep in mind, menstrual sex is quite kinky. The thought of it may make your girl want to do other kinky things. I have had by far my best sex when mthe crimson tide settled in.

As for the whole AIDS subject, you can only get AIDS from a person WITH AIDS. However, sense menstrual blood is still blood, you do have a much higher chance of getting any blood-borne diseases, especially AIDS, HIV, or other STD's.

Well a great way to find out you're about to start or going to start your period is to have sex.

Although I will agree I was digusted and I am one of those people who are like "ew, no never, don't touch me while i'm all gross" however, he was in the mood, i was and I wasn't thinking "hey count your days, B.O.B is coming"
(B.O.B is the name i gave my period in 6th grade so boys wouldn't know what i was talking about)

but yeah it is gross, shit gets everywhere and it'sjust so gross. I wanted to vomit - but i'm with the people who are like, if he don't mind and you don't mind do it.

He wasn't disgusted at all - he was like "oh man you're on your period" and i started freaking out and he was like "well might as well keep going" i think he liked it a little too much cause it ended pretty damn fast after that which I was greatful for cause i felt like a dirty @#$$%!

i try it all the time at first i thought it was gross but my boyfriend dont mind and i dont either when your horny you cant control that no matter what i bleed a little when im on my period so you never could tell if im on my period or not[

All kinds of funny stuff here. Ms Smith's was the funniest. Love you Ms. Smith. One of the first replies was the most accurate.
1) there is no barrier between your vascular system (namely blood) and the outside world when you are on your period, so the chances of infection even from the normal bacteria of your skin into your system increase (Did you ever think why medical professionals clean your skin with alcohol before inject you?). There is Bacteria that are harmless or rather useful in one part of the body e.g., GI tract, skin, etc, and harmful in another area. An example is the bacteria Staph. Aureus that lives on the skin but causes tens of diseases elsewhere.
2) HIV and HBV (most dangerous type of hepatitis) are transmited easily when that barrier is broken. So the rate of infection goes up during period.
3) Like a fellow responded, there is a lot of research that they teach us in medical scholl that endometriosis is almost exclusively a disease of those who have sex during menstruation (and those few who deny intercourse during menstruation may be lying. who knows).
Benefit: hmmm, I personally can't think of any, but if you can, good for you. I hope you enjoy the experience. I may see you at my office or not, but I am sure a colleague of mine will eventually Smile

Ebonics does not indicate a third grade speech rate at all.
