My Aunt was diagnosed with lung cancer approx. 3 yrs ago. She had to have part of Her lung removed. She has been in constant, excrutiating pain ever since. No pain medications that Her doctors have put Her on, seem to be helping at all. She is on oxygen & can't even go outside anymore, because of the pain. Her doctors are now exploring the option of doing a surgical procedure to kill the nerve endings in Her back. My question is, (because Her docors will NOT give Her any straight forward answers), what are the long & short term affects that She will have to go through? Can anyone please help Me to get some answers for My Aunt? Anything would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!!
