hello,
im 20 years old and i have been having a fast heart rate for about a month now it stays around anywhere from 104 to 121 the fastest it has been is 154 bpm. they had me wear a holter moniter for 24 hours and my heart rate was 57bpm-154bpm. they also gave me a ekg and it came back saying sinus tachcardia and possible left atrial enlargement, what does that mean the left atrial enlargement? is that maybe what is causing me to have the sinus tachcardia? the docters really havent said much to me about the left atrial enlargment they have just been talking about my fast heart rate which the cardiologist isnt worried about he says im young and i can handle the fast heart rate, as long as theres nothing wrong with my heart that is actully causing the sinus tachcardia i have a echo feb. 5 and i guess ill go on from there, i hope and prey there is nothing wrong, if your a christian and you prey please keep me in your prairs. so if anyone could help me that knows anything about this please let me know please, i need all the information i can get.
