I have been using elocon cream for almost 10yrs now. From my experience elocon causes thinness of the skin and veins over the nose. But at the same time it’s the best medication for pigmentation. I tried so many things; they just don't work for me as elocon. I just have to find the way not to use it daily. Any suggestions?

I too have used Elocon cream on my face for many years. I have had problem with thinness too, and it was really bad, so believe me I know how you feel. I think you should try to discontinue use for 2 weeks. That is what they call a cleansing period. This is something like period of withdrawal. But you should know this they say it has to get worse before it gets better. Then go to a Dermatologist, or doctor that prescribed you Elocon and see about a non-steroid cream.

You mention that elocom is good for pigmentation. Is it good to restore pigmentation to areas where one has lost pigmentation?
