Do you think that encephalopathy may be the cause of few weird conditions my 14 years old daughter had experienced lately? She had few seizures before and it was actually about 7 years ago when she was diagnosed with encephalopathy but it is been for years now she never had a single attack until recently when she stayed out of consciousness and in the same time her body twitched and jerked and this time actually it was not the common encephalopathy symptoms she used to have such as memory loss, lack of concentration and personality changes-she just felt down and started shaking uncosciosly. What do you think this could be?

The symptomes your daughter had experienced are probably related to seizures disorder and in this particular case it is probably about epilepsy attack which is probably caused by her encephalopathy condition she is already being diagnosed and you know whenever it comes to such diagnose that refers to the brain disorder there are never to be cured completely –so it is probably like your daughter have some sort of mild encephalopathy and that is why she was free of some more severe brain irregularities these years but it doesn't still means it would go on like that forever. You haven't mentioned whether your daughter is taking any med therapy but i suppose she has been probably prescribed some meds before –maybe you just quit giving them to her for it al seemed ok –but I think you should go and seek some professional advise over her encephalopathy condition for i think she would probably get prescribed some anticonvulsants that would help in reducing the seizures and you may aslo try with some dietary changes and also some nutritional supplements may help improving encephalopathy.
