The abdomen is an anatomical area that is bounded by the lower margin of the ribs above, the pelvic bone (pubic ramus) below, and the flanks on each side.
The abdomen is divided into right upper and lower and left upper and lower quadrants by a horizontal and a vertical line intersecting at the umbilicus.
The portion of the body between the chest and the pelvis.
Abdomen includes many organs of the digestive system, such as the stomach, small and large intestine, liver, pancreas and gallbladder.
