- Angiokeratoma is characterized by hyperkeratotic angiomatous lesion with histological combination of vascular aberration and hyperkeratosis.
- Angiokeratoma is a vascular dermatosis characterized by telangiectasia with a horny overgrowth.
- The term angiokeratoma is used to describe several distinct entities characterized by vascular nodules in the skin, with a histological picture of dermal vascular ectasia surmounted by hyperkeratosis of the epidermis.
- Angiokeratomas are small dark red to purple raised spots that may have a rough scaly surface.
- Angiokeratomas are composed of surface blood vessels (dilated capillaries).
