- The anus is the end of the large intestine, below the rectum, through which stool (solid waste) leaves the body.
- The anus is less elastic than the vagina and has no natural lubrication.
- The anus is the opening at the end of the large intestine (rectum) through which solid waste passes out of the body.
- The anus is the final 4 cm of digestive tract through which waste is excreted.
