Ataxia is the principal symptom of a group of rare neurological disorders called the cerebellar ataxias.
Ataxia is a group of progressive neurological diseases which affects coordination and speech.
While the term ataxia is primarily used to describe this set of symptoms, it is sometimes also used to refer to a family of disorders.
Sporadic ataxia is a form of ataxia which is not linked to a genetic defect.
