- Chlorpheniramine is an antihistaminic that possesses anticholinergic and sedative effects.
- Chlorpheniramine is no more effective than placebo in relieving the symptoms of childhood atopic dermatitis with a nocturnal itching and scratching component.
- Chlorpheniramine is reportedly incompatible with: calcium chloride, kanamycin sulfate, norepinephrine bitartrate, pentobarbital sodium, and iodipamide meglumine 52% (Cholographin).
