The present experiment explored whether startle eyeblink is also modulated during a complex continuous task and is sensitive to different levels of mental workload.
Of this group of movements the eyeblink is the most sensitive and consistent across individuals, and this is the response that is most often measured in studies of this reflex.
The detected eyeblink flag signal 53 is generated when each eyeblink is detected.
Now remember that the eyeblinkis a measure of time in all the Indo-aryan or Indo-European systems.
As the eyeblink is a bilateral phenomenon, we did not expect the side of the electric stimulation to have an essential influence on the acquisition of a conditioned response.
