Facts

One of a pair of organs in the chest that supplies the body with oxygen, and removes carbon dioxide from the body.
Each lung is divided into upper and lower lobes, although the upper lobe of the right lung contains another triangular subdivision known as the middle lobe.
The lung is a very common site for metastasis from tumors in other parts of the body.
