Moles are growths on the skin can appear anywhere on the skin, alone or in groups can appear anywhere on the skin, alone or in groups.
Moles appear when cells in the skin grow in a cluster instead of being spread throughout the skin.
A normal mole has well-defined, regular borders.
Moles are usually brownish, but may be darker or skin-coloured. They can also be flat, raised, smooth, rough, and even have hair coming out from them.
Most moles are not dangerous. Medical concern represent those that look different than other existing moles or those that first appear after age 20.
