In lungs, mucus traps foreign particles that enter the nose during normal breathing. It also prevents tissues from drying out.
Vaginal mucus is a naturally occurring substance within the vagina that moisturizes and cleans the vagina and whose consistency changes according to the periods of the menstrual cycle (ovulation, PMS, periods)
