Osteomyelitis is an infection of the bone usually caused by bacteria.
Inflammation and destruction of bone caused by aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, mycobacteria, and fungi.
An acute or chronic infection of the bone and bone marrow characterized by pain, high fever, and an abscess at the site of infection.
