Elaborating on the court's analysis, an ethical psychologist is one who recognizes ethical dilemmas and strives to keep all of the competing values in mind as the dilemma unfolds.
These standards are to be used in determining qualifications of personnel who are not certified to conduct evaluations in the the child/youth's primary language only when an appropriately certified school psychologist is not available.
Testing conducted by a psychologist is billed in hourly units, based on the number of hours the psychologist spends administering a test and interpreting and reporting test results.
The definition states that a multiple relationship arises when a psychologist is in a professional role with an individual, and that, in addition to this professional role, one of three other conditions is met.
A practicing psychologist is trained to assess and diagnose problems in thinking, feeling and behaviour as well to help people overcome or manage these problems.
