What Is Sadness?Sadness is a feeling - it's one of the many normal human emotions, or moods, we all have.
I'd missed 'My Pain and Sadness Is More Sad And Painful Than Yours' ("a collection of demos which were reappropriated into album form for the sake of our own sanity" says Falkous), but this friend somehow had 'Do Dallas' five or six months before its release date.
Integrating his photographs with candid storytelling, Sadness is Yang's 'autobiography', emotive in its dealings with death, the gay community, cultural heritage, and ultimately, the mysteries of the self.
But sadness is different to depression.
