SOLUMEDROL Sterile Powder contains methylprednisolone sodium succinate as the active ingredient.
It is sold in the USA and Canada under the brand names Solu-Medrol, Medrol, Phocenta, and Cadista but it could be also bought as a generic drug.
With long-term use, Solumedrol could have serious side effects such as weight gain, glaucoma, osteoporosis and psychosis, especially if used at high dosages.
