Semen is a white or grey liquid, emitted from the urethra (tube in the penis) on ejaculation.
Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is a laboratory procedure developed to help infertile couples undergo- ing in vitro fertilization (IVF) due to male factor infertility.
Sperm is the mature male reproductive cell.
Millions of sperm are present in each ejaculate and only one spermatozoon will fuses with the ovum at conception to produce an embryo.
The sperm carries 23 chromosomes, 22 autosomes and an X chromosome or aY chromosome.
