Hello I have an epididymal cyst which I discovered at age 19. When I first noticed it, it was the size of a pea but is now over one inch in length, I am 25 now. I had an ultra sound done on it when it was about half the size it is now. I was told then it is a normal cyst but since then it has become a bit irregular on one side. Although light is still able to pass through it, no dark spots present, it seems to be cause for alarm. I do plan to have it checked out, but I am wondering if the irregularity is a sign of something cancerous or if it is normal in the growth of the cyst for it to become less smooth.

I first experienced testicular pain 4 weeks ago and went to go see my GP right away thinking the worst. He took a look and told me I just damaged a ligament in my groin. It would go away. I went to go see an urologist a week later as I was in worse pain and couldn’t handle it. He diagnosed me with a varicocele and epididymitis in the left testicle and gave me Cipro XL which I've been taking for the past 12 days. After a week I felt well, but the next day I felt worse and on top of testicular and leg/buttocks nerve pain I added upper back pain as well. I am still on Cipro but I highly doubt it working. Testicular pain feels better in warm water but not the nerve pain really. Pain seems to concentrate on underside of scrotum and where the groin meets the leg. First thing in the morning I usually feel ok but pain resumes within minutes.
