epilepsy surgery and after effects

Could I be having a different type of seizures now than before I had epilepsy surgery? I had simple complex seizures, now 2 years after surgery I have been aspirating at night and getting pneumonia. I don't know if I could now be having night seizures after all this time or if it is a gastro issue. Please let me know what might be causing these aspirations. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
