Recently I’ve started having problems swallowing, and experienced pain in esophagus. The pain occurs when swallowing and cause me difficulties, even when eat liquid food. Only few times I felt that had heartburn. Is this esophagitis? I’d like to get some advices about the treatment of this condition.

I had esophagitis that was caused by acid reflux, so I used antacids to treat it. Treatment of esophagitis depends on the cause. Sometimes antibiotics are required or antifungal agents. Esophagitis is treatable condition, it usually responds to treatment. Complications occur if untreated and can be severe. You should visit your physician; it would be the best solution.
