excessive bleeding right after last depo shot

my last shot was in july 2006, since then i get my period for 1 week on 1 week off. also i am bleeding excessively with large blood clots. i am trying to find out if this is normal because everyone else says like 5 months to a year to even start their cycle again after. i'm scared

same thing with me my first shot was on may it took "3 months" so i think i finished on july an im bleeding i am trying to find out if this is normal im afride when will i stop bleeding
