Exocrine glands secrete their products into ducts to surface or in body cavities and organs especially in gastrointestinal tract. Endocrine glands secretes directly in bloodstream. There are three types of exocrine gland based on how their product is secreted: apocrine glands, holocrine glands and merocrine glands.
