I would like to know something more about exocrine gland. I know that there are endocrine glands, and I know something about them. Could you tell me what is the difference between exocrine and endocrine gland? Also I would like to know how many types of exocrine gland divided by method of secretion there are. Thanks at advance!

Let's go by some order. First, the difference between exocrine and endocrine gland. Exocrine glands secrete their products into ducts to surface or in body cavities and organs especially in gastrointestinal tract. Endocrine glands secretes directly in bloodstream. There are three types of exocrine gland based on how their product is secreted: apocrine glands, holocrine glands and merocrine glands.
