extra nerves in testicles now are causing pain

ok well first off my husband would be mortified but I'm worried and he won't go see a doctor. Anyways we've been together for about 4 years and sex has been great. But lately as in the last couple months my husband has complained of pain and isn't willing to have sex. Now he was diagnois as a kid with extra nerves in his testicles but why are they starting to hurt him. I'm really worried. We have yet to start our family and he won't see a doctor. Should I be worried or will it go away? Anything helps.

Ignoring what "Dr. Jake" says above (seriously dude, she's worried enough!)....

You are already concerned. That type of worry doesn't just fade away.
I would urge you to contact either a marriage counselor or see a urologist doctor to get a handle on what kind of pain your husband is having.

First, he has to go see someone if this is impacting both of you. He doesn't have the right to deprive you of sex or affection just because he's embarassed. The cause of the embarassment is his affair, but he needs to understand just how important this is to you.

Tell him you want to go in for a couple's examination to see if there's something wrong. If your husband already suspects what's wrong, you're likely to have an uphill battle. But if you couch this in terms of concern for him and you, as a couple.... he may relent.
