extreme nausea, not able to eat. pain and weight gain

for 5 years my sister has suffered with nausea and vomiting. however she does not lose weight. now has developed extreme pain in right side of stomach area that seems to go through to her back.

Did you check symptoms of crohn's disease?

just a suggestion since you mentioned right side pain
