I doubt having steatitis or fatty liver. I had troubles with alcohol when I was younger, but only now, in 40s, when I don't consummate it any more; I think I am beginning to feel the consequences. Has it got anything to do with the alcohol?

If you didn't consult your doc, please don't rush with conclusions. I had troubles with fatty liver, or steatosis, for a long time and I am still taking medications. You are usually told that it's nothing serious. And then they do the alcohol history and then they start shaking their heads, but when they see you, they smile and say "everything's just fine". They want to "exclude" possibility of hepatitis by another million of tests, and at the end it usually turns out that you suffer from it, which you knew in the first place, of course… I don't mean to be unjust, but what they often say to me when I get nervous: "It is your entire fault, not ours" – seems to be true.
