Hello. I have some problems and I hope someone will help me in relieving my symptoms.
I can't explain you the emptiness I'm feeling inside of me. My girlfriend left about four months ago and that is when all this started.
After this, problems with bad marks also came and all this affected me. Since then I feel empty, useless and worthless. My parents don't seem to understand this at all and they are thinking this is some faze I'm going through.
I was thinking to seek for medical help but I'm sure I would be only wasting doctor’s time!
What should I do?

You are right about some things.
Sometimes parents just don’t have enough time for their children but you must have enough patience for them.
Obviously you do need the counseling, someone to talk with. Hard brake ups can really mast up a person.
Please stop thinking that you 'don't want to waste' the psychiatrist's time. That's what he is there for. You should consult one imidiately and he will talk with you until you fully recover. Also, at your university there is most likely a student counseling service.
Beside this talking- short course of anti-depressants could help too.
Take care of yourself!
