smooth muscle cells and fibrous
connective tissue that develop in or on the uterine wall. There could be one or many uterine fibroids. They are usually diagnosed as tumors of the female pelves and a most common reason for hysterectomy. They are benign and rarely cancerous. Most of the time women don’t even notice any symptoms.
