flatulance problem after C-section

I had an emergency C-section two months ago. Since I had the C-Section, I have had a terrible gas/flatulance problem. The actual act of flatulance will last around 5 seconds and sound watery. They are smelly also. They happen several times throughout the day. Could the C-section have harmed something in my digestive track? Another question, I notice that my deoderant is not working anymore. Could my body chemistry change in a way that makes me smellier?
