My mom is on Focalin (Dexmethylphenidate) treatment for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). I am taking care that she takes right dose of Focalin each day. I am worried because I have to go on trip next week and there is no one I can trust that will take care of her. Can someone provide me information what would happen if she miss the dose or if she overdose. Thanks.
Well if she misses the dose of Focalin she should take next dose as soon as she remembers. But she shouldn’t take double dose. If she overdoses with Focalin she will experience symptoms like vomiting, sweating, muscle twitches, maybe headache, maybe something else too. Tell her to seek medical help immediately.
