Hello! I am studying to be a nurse. However, I am allergic to food like banana, avacado and kiwi and I heard that people who have that sort of allergy can also develop an allergy on latex rubber gloves. I still haven’t run into these but what will happen if I do?

Hello there! I also heard that some of the proteins in these foods are similar to those found in natural rubber latex and may trigger allergic reactions. Unfortunately I don’t have any information on what you could do. Try talking to some of your teachers, or try to find an allergist who may help you with some additional info.
