Hello! I am practicing running every morning. I have started with this behavior few months ago. But, few days ago I have felt pain in my foot. When I went to doctor, he diagnosed that I have foot stress fracture and that I need to rest. I have never heard that foot stress fracture occurs because of running…

Hello! Well, you are not right. One of causes of foot stress fracture is running. Foot stress fracture occurs because you are wearing inappropriate shoes or you are not running properly. When you are running it is very important to run: toes – heel (never heel first). I really hope that you are finding that my answer is helpful.
