foreign matter in my stool

I passed a membrane in my stool. It was a brown color and one about 6 inches long, the other 4inches long. the 6 inch piece was like a flat tube about 1/2 inch wide. the 4 inch piece was 1/4 of an inch tube like. I do not have any pain or discomfort. There is no blood in my stool. Can you give me some insight.
I have been taking metimucil and nothing else.

I recently noticed the same thing in my stool. This has ocurred at least three times this week. Each one of these small tube like items has a membrane at the end. Does anyone know what this is?
