| hi, i masturbated about a week ago and my foreskin swelled up after this, although it has improved, its still not back to normal. my penis is also unusually heavy and quite hard when flacid. I have no problems with getting an erection but my penis has also lost some of its sensitivity. What do i need to do for it to return to normal? |

Hey honestly this happened to me very recently. what i did was not masturbate until the swelling goes away it can cause pain. it also can cause more swelling. heres what i did, ok for starters try to take a cold shower/bath, or a hot bath/shower. also try to stay erect for long periods of time no longer than 30 to 35 minutes though.staying errect will keep your foreskin retracted, this is helpful in this type of problem. good luck with this problem. |

| I also am having this problem. Its been about 2 weeks since actual sex. But last night i masterbated. and i woke up and my foreskin was also swollen. I am circumsized. if any of this makes a difference. Imnot in pain either. I just dont what the hell is goin on. I almost past out before i took a shower this morning when i seen it. THis is not a disease? |

| I'm definantly glad i found this on here, Recently after masturbation, my foreskin became swollen. There is no pain, but sensitivity has been highly reduced, to the point where i cant even ejaculate. Hopefully, according to all of you, this should go away in time. |

I get this from time to time... it happens when you are being too vigorous while masturbating. It should go back to normal within 2-3 days, but it can stay swollen for well over a week. As far as i know theres no way to speed up the recovery process apart from keeping your hands off there until it goes back to normal. 
If it has gone over one or two weeks with no sign of improvement whatsoever, you might want to consider visiting a hospital. It could be (I am by no means an expert, i am guessing.) some sort of infection?
Again, its best to leave it completely alone during the recovery process and within a couple of days it should be back to normal. |

| Many men will swell up when masturbating, not because of vigorousness, but because of the lubricant they are using. Alot of lubricants, cosmetic products, and soaps and cause swelling in the penis, with scabbing and flakiness afterwards. My advice, masturbate with a lubricant you absolutely know wont affect you. |
