frequent urination after abortion

I had an abortion three months ago and ever since I have frequent urination problem. I even woke up during the night for frequent and urgent urination but I always need to wait at least 10 seconds to start urinate. I never had frequent urination before so I think it has something to do with the abortion I had. What do you think how I can manage frequent urination problem after abortion.

It sounds to me like you’ve got bladder inflammation which is usually called cystitis and is more common in woman. I also had frequent urination problem after abortion though cystitis usually is not abortion related. I think abortion caused my urethra infection and that’s where from the bacteria’s might have spread to the bladder. Those symptoms you have indicate that you might have such a problem so it would be the best for you to check it out with your doc. You haven’t mention if you feel any burning sensation or pain while urinate for those are also the bladder inflammation symptoms and if not treated this inflammation might also spread to the upper urinary tract when usually affects kidneys. In order to escape this situation you’ll have to get diagnosed and usually physical exam is first performed just to check for the possible swollen bladder or some other abdominal masses and than you have laboratory test that will prove the presence of some bacteria. And depends on what bacteria there is you might get prescribed proper antibiotic. I also was prescribed antibiotics and the results were ok but I also may recommend to you some alternative treatments for bladder inflammation such as avoid sugar in taking and try to drink a plenty of water. My mom advised me to drink cranberry juice without sugar and I think it helped me. I also know some woman that has tried acupuncture and also herbal medicines and they claim it helps them in solving successfully the frequent and urgent urination problem.
